Love: Refugees is a group that is working to resettle a Syrian refugee family in our local area, through the government's community sponsorship scheme.
Community sponsorship is a way for individuals to take the lead in integrating a refugee family into the community. Under the scheme we are responsible for preparing all that is needed to help the family integrate into the community -- from finding and setting up a home to arranging English lessons. We also need to raise £12,000 to help support the family through their first year in the UK. Watch this video to find out more:
