What We're Excited About

We have been having a terrific time of late with lots of fun things jammed into our church calendar. Here are a few of the highlights along with what we have to look forward to!

Felix Stevenson, Associate Worker

Looking Back!

It was our birthday!

Bishop Graham Tomlin joined our celebration!

On the 22nd Jan we celebrated being open as a church for two years! With Bishop Graham Tomlin speaking at our morning service the day was spent praising God for all He has done in our short life as a church.

Christmas at St Michael's

Christmas 2016 was our biggest yet as people from all around the area crammed into the church to sing and celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus!

SMASH Club Go Ice-Skating

Our SMASH club (yrs 3-5) went for their annual Christmas social...ice-skating! Lots of fun was had on the ice with the impressive Hampton Court Palace as their backdrop!

Light Party 2016

On the 31st October we had our annual Light Party. A night of fun games, sweets, fancy dress and an opportunity to hear more about the true Light of the world, the Lord Jesus Christ.

The London Men's Convention

Joining several thousand other men from churches all around the country a group from St Michael's headed to the London Men's Convention in the Royal Albert Hall. It was a hugely encouraging time with stirring music and fantastic talks from the bible. #selfie

Animate's Long Day Out

In May Animate (years 6-9) went on a trip into London to go to the Sorted Nano event. We had a morning of fun, games and some terrific teaching on Jesus' return before enjoying fun in the city as we went up the monument!

He is not here; He has risen

We had a wonderful time celebrating the resurrection of the Lord Jesus on Easter Sunday! With lots of guests, friendly faces and chocolate eggs we won't forget it in a hurry!

Our First Ever Play!

On the 8th March we welcomed 'The God Particle' to St Michael's - our first ever play at St Michael's! Written by the award winning co-writer of BBC1's Miranda and BBC3's Bluestone 42, the production explored the relationship between science and faith. We had a terrific time with a packed attendance, fantastic performances and a razor-sharp script to boot!

Church Weekend Away 2016

Surely right up there as a key contender for highlight of the year. Our Church Weekend Away was a fantastic time; deepening friendships, contesting in the St M'Oscars quiz and hearing from the Bible what it means to be united in Christ.
